A Stop at the Carnival

The kiddos begged me to stop at the carnival on our way home. The whole time I kept saying to myself I'm not going to spend more than $20 so I stopped at the ATM and took out that amount. The first thing they rode was the carousel. The carousel is a old time favorite it is one of those rides that was around when I was a child. Aaron loved the ride, but Kailyn is one of those kids that had to get use to the whole idea of something moving up and down.

Aaron and Kailyn jumped in the bounce house for a few minutes and played a few games. They both won a stuffed fish, Aaron also won a bow and arrow, and Kailyn won a princess crown.

At the end of the day I had spent $40 at the carnival. When we first walked in there I said I was only going to spend $20, but they begged me to keep riding so I went to the ATM and got twenty more dollars out. I know I broke my word, but as long as my kiddos enjoyed themselves is all that matters.

A Day at Wonder Place

The kiddos love spending time at Wonder Place. They have so much to do and the cool thing is that everything is indoors. So your little one can have fun even when the weather is bad. They have a water table that my kiddos love to death. It is actually Kailyn's favorite attraction. To keep your kiddos from getting wet they have these little plastic capes that you put on over your clothes while playing in the water. Kailyn still managed to get wet. She kept on pouring water on her sandles smh.

They also have a treehouse/playhouse. Aaron and Kailyn love the slide that is on the treehouse. The thing that bothers me about Aaron with the slide is that he always wants to climb up the slide smh. I have to constantly tell him the slide is for sliding down not climbing up. He also like the rock climbing section of the playhouse. Another fun area of Wonder Place is the Airway section. You can insert balls and scarves in the tubes and watch them shoot through them.

They also have a sand table that is full of sand and toys. It is really fun but can get a little messy. On our first visit to Wonder Place Kailyn left there with about a cup of sand in her hair. So I had to brush it out and wash her hair that night. They also have a Drama Stage/Puppet Area where your kiddos can dress up of put on puppet shows.

My kiddos favorite area is the cafe. It is an area where you can pretend like you are cooking or even grocery shopping. It has vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, icecream, etc. It is a lot of fun for the kiddos and even the adults. Aaron and Kailyn spent most of their time in that area. The food look so real, so on our first visit to Wonder Place Kailyn picked uo the fake icecream and licked it.

The kiddos loved wonder place so much that I decided to get a monthly membership. We will be there a lot this summer especially if it stays 90 degrees outside.
